iF communication design award 2010 commendation for GO IN

The digital media design company “Zum Kuckuck” submitted the GO IN website as a competition entry and won a commendation for this year‘s iF communication design award in the category "digital media - Structure".

GO IN Managing Director Maurus Reisenthel had commissioned the design company to work on the new GO IN website. "Together with our agency,”Zum Kuckuck”, we are delighted with this excellent result in the iF communication design award 2010“, said Reisenthel.

GO IN GmbH developed an online shop selling a unique range of catering and contract furniture and set totally new standards with the introduction of its intelligent Product Configurator. The international B2B shopping portal offers interior designers the opportunity to create individual products and combinations in a variety of colours, sizes and shapes to suit any environment. The new shop makes furniture design easy: using the Products menu the user can quickly find items such as chairs, tables, bar stools, sofas, modular bench systems or the appropriate accessories. The product presentation provides a general overview of all relevant combination options. If, for example, the designer wishes to use the Configurator to design his own individual bar stools he can choose from a wide range of different bases, columns, seat designs and table tops in a variety of colours, shapes and materials. This attractive diversity is offered by GO IN for all product categories. All the relevant prices and technical information are provided for each new combination.

A total of 1,687 entries were submitted for this year’s iF communication design award. The jury awarded the coveted iF Label 499 times to 480 entries – 20 entries received multiple awards for different categories. The top 30 in the competition, the iF gold awards, will be announced on September 3rd at the prize-giving ceremony held at BMW World in Munich.
